This September will see the launch of a brand new consumer pet show at Olympia Events as the London Pet Show Live takes place over the weekend of 20-21 September.

Proudly supported by the UK’s number one award-winning pet insurer, Petplan, the show will bring together all pet owners and animal lovers under Olympia’s iconic roof to enjoy an action-packed weekend of pet-focused activities, including live animal shows and performances, dog demonstrations in the Dog Activity Area, and a variety of exciting events and competitions.

Speakers on the main stage will include the likes of “The Dogfather” – Graeme Hall the Channel 5 Presenter from “Dogs Behaving Very Badly”, The Yorkshire Vet - Peter Wright, and This ITV Morning’s star Dr Scott Miller.

According to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics, approximately 1.2 million dogs currently reside in London households compared to approximately 1.1 million children under the age of five.

"We've seen a significant shift in family structures within the UK's capital. With 44% of Londoners living with cats — a much higher figure than other parts of the UK, where ownership drops to 30% or lower — it’s clear that pets play a huge role in city life. Bearing this in mind, we anticipate huge interest in London Pet Show Live and expect thousands of attendees to join us for this exciting event,” said the Show Director.
