Today Rishi Sunak visited Olympia London for the opening day of The Great British Beer Festival.
Sunak met brewers and publicans on the first day of the festival ahead of doors opening to the public at 5pm when thousands of pint lovers will enjoy over 800 different beers from around the world.
The event runs from Tuesday 1 to Saturday 5 August at Olympia London which has hosted the festival since 2012 under its iconic roof.
The Great British Beer Festival is staffed by thousands of beer loving volunteers. Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of street food and live entertainment with their beer.
According to Kiren, the UK is ranked 7th in the world for beer consumption and The Great British Beer Festival is one of the biggest and well-known annual events in the beer world.
Olympia London is currently going through a £1.3bn redevelopment to transform the historic venue into an iconic London landmark destination.
