Olympia is strengthening its growing portfolio of high-energy, community-driven events with the launch of The Hybrid Games - the UK’s most exciting new functional fitness competition - coming to the capital this November.
Set to take over Olympia’s iconic Grand Hall for its biggest event to date, The Hybrid Games promises an adrenaline-fuelled day of racing, teamwork, and total-body strength.
A full-throttle fitness showdown, the Games deliver the ultimate challenge for competitors of all levels with 10 x 600m runs, 10 intense workout stations, and a final 200m sprint to the finish line. Athletes will face a fast-paced course designed to test stamina, strength, and resilience - whether racing solo or as part of a doubles team - all within a welcoming and high-energy community atmosphere. Categories include Male and Female Solo, as well as Male, Female, and Mixed Doubles divisions.
The Hybrid Games is already creating national momentum, with Olympia’s event forming part of a wider expansion across the Legends/ASM Global Europe portfolio – including a sister event at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena. This multi-venue approach reflects Legends/ASM Global Europe’s strategic ambition to support multi-venue events across its portfolio of National venues.
Hannah George, Marketing Director at The Hybrid Games, said:
"We are so excited to bring our unique fitness community to the capital with The Hybrid Games at Olympia. This is more than just our biggest race yet; it's an incredible opportunity to motivate and inspire even more people to push themselves and achieve new limits. We truly believe in the power of our community to uplift and support one another, and I can't wait to see everyone's incredible achievements and personal bests unfold."
Olympia’s landmark £1.3bn regeneration is transforming the historic event venues, managed by Olympia Events, into a global dynamic destination where events of every kind can thrive. With additions like The Hybrid Games, Olympia is expanding its horizons to welcome bold, diverse, and inspiring experiences that connect people and energise the city.
Nick Graham, Director of Exhibitions at Olympia Events, said:
