The venue’s Traffic and Control Team won Venue Team of the Year Award at the AEO Excellence Awards 2024.
The team won the award for managing the logistics, security and parking at Olympia Events with the backdrop of the wider Olympia estate going through redevelopment. This meant managing many thousands of event and construction vehicles coming on site in 2023.
The Olympia estate is being redeveloped to create a visitor destination around the iconic london venue including places to stay, eat and drink and be entertained.
Major shows including Ideal Home Show, London Film and Comic Con as well as high-profile complex events such as Moncler The Art of Genius were able to build, run and break down successfully at the venue all while the redevelopment work continued.
During this time the team have kept the venue secure, upgraded our security standards, trained all members with security measures and received great feedback from our clients and visitors.
