Olympia Events has appointed Andy Price as Director of Marketing & Communications, a new role, as the iconic venue continues its journey to becoming part of London’s newest destination for culture, creativity and entertainment.
Andy’s previous role was as Commerical Director of Ticketing & Arenas at the NEC Group, where he oversaw venue programming for both the Utilita Arena Birmingham and Resorts World Arena, Ticketing, Premium Hospitality, Merchandise and Retail.
Price also has previous experience in marketing, communications and commercial in radio, music television, live events, creative agencies, as well as retail.
Speaking on his new role, Price said: “This is a unique opportunity to join Olympia Events at such a transformative time for the iconic venue. It’s a great honour to be asked to lead the Marketing & Communications strategy as we move towards the opening of the incredible Olympia destination from next year. The new estate will transform a cultural landmark into a world-class global destination.”

The Olympia destination is set to open in late 2025. With two new hotels, new cultural venues, 30+ restaurants, bars and eateries, and 550,000sq ft of state-of-the-art offices, the £1.3 billion scheme is set to transform the area into London’s newest cultural destination.
