London’s getting a massive pet show – and you can meet over 100 animals and birds under one roof!
Londoners love their pets. In fact, there are more cats and dogs in the capital than kids under five so it’s no wonder London Pet Show Live is heading to Olympia this September, bringing a weekend packed with paw-some fun, celebrity vets, and family-friendly experiences.
Whether you're already a proud pet parent or just dreaming of your future companion, this interactive show is a one-stop shop for all things pet-related. Meet 40 of the UK’s most popular dog and cat breeds, get expert advice on training and behaviour, and find the perfect pet for your experience, lifestyle and accommodation. Visit the Guinea Pig village, rabbits, hamsters and the ‘super smart’ Pooch rats, discovering why these ‘small-furries’ could be a perfect pocket-sized pet for metropolitan living.
If birds and reptiles take your fancy, meet a variety of feathered friends along with Gekkos and Lizards discovering how to best care for these more exotic pets.
Hosting the main stage is ITV’s This Morning vet Dr Scott Miller, who’ll be joined by Channel 5’s Dogfather Graeme Hall and top animal pros like Dr Roger Mugford and Hannah Molloy. Expect live demos, Q&A sessions on wellness and behaviour, and panel chats to help you understand your pet better or find the right one for your lifestyle.
The Dog Activity Arena will be buzzing with agility shows, stunt performances, dancing dogs, and demos from the life-saving Medical Detection Dogs. Over in the Literary Corner, meet celebrity authors like Ted the Dog, star of BBC2’s Gone Fishing, Graeme Hall, Hannah Molloy, Pen Farthing and Jane Elson for book signings. Kids can enjoy face painting, story time with therapy dogs, and plenty of pet-friendly shopping for the whole family.
ITV’s This Morning Vet, Scott Miller commented:
“It’s no surprise that Londoners are so passionate about pets, science proves how all animals but particularly dogs and cats lower our stress levels, make us smile more, give us purpose and companionship. I’m excited to be hosting the main stage at London Pet Show Live as promoting responsible ownership, choosing the right pet for your accommodation, lifestyle and experience. But also highlighting why considering a rescue pet is highly recommended as re-homing charities like Battersea and Dogs Trust are at bursting point”.
London Pet Show Live takes place on Saturday 20 – Sunday 21 September 2025 at Olympia.
