The largest park in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, with a semi-wild woodland, a Japanese garden and geometric formal gardens.
Open to the public since 1952, Holland Park is an absolute delight at any time of year. Each carefully cultivated area of the park provides a unique and enchanting environment in which to relax and unwind.
In the summer months, you can even watch opera in the delightful open-air theatre, surrounded by the remains of Holland House. Most of this huge mansion was destroyed by bombing in the 1940s but it has been reborn, with different parts providing the setting for the café in the Orangery and the Marco Pierre White restaurant, The Belvedere. There's even a youth hostel.
