We’re proud to be part of the community and our relationship with our neighbours is particularly important to us. We host regular resident drop-in events and distribute quarterly community news to 7,000 homes near our venue. We regularly work with schools, charities, and community organisations to add value and positively impact our local area. This is all part of our commitment to our community in our Grand Plan. We also help run The Olympia Charitable Trust to support projects and not-for-profit organisations working hard to help our community.
If you're our neighbour, a local charity or community organisation and have any enquiry about our community projects, Olympia Events’ operations, or want to receive email updates about our events and ticket offers, just email community@olympia.london.
Some of our charity partners
Masbro Centre
Operated by Urban Partnership Group, the Masbro Centre is committed to improving the health, wealth, and wellbeing of families and individuals living in Hammersmith and Fulham. Their work provides essential support, including parenting programmes, adult learning and employment support, youth and elder activities to empower residents to achieve their goals and live healthier, more fulfilling lives. By addressing the root causes of inequality in our community, they strive to create a thriving and inclusive community for all.
Barons Court Project
Barons Court Project is the only day centre in Hammersmith and Fulham that supports people who are on low income, homeless and/or vulnerable to mental health issues. They’re the only day centre in the borough that provides a space where people's basic needs can be met such as taking a shower, doing laundry, and eating. We’ve partnered with the charity for a number of years to support fundraising for their incredible work and helped promote their beautiful Homeless Made products all to support their mission to end homelessness.
Mama Haven
Mama Haven offers low-income parents a path out of poverty, through retraining, rebuilding, and reimagining their future. The charity focuses on combating in-work poverty by advancing education and promoting social inclusion. They work to connect their users with higher-income employment opportunities. They partner with the West London Chambers to deliver the Women in Business Breakfast Network. Our partnership with this charity began in 2023 with funding through the Charitable Trust and we look to continue to support low-income parents and women in business through our partnerships.
H&F Giving
H&F Giving are the go-to organisation for anyone who wants to understand local needs and work together to enrich the lives of Hammersmith & Fulham residents. Through their extensive networks in public, private and charity sectors they match resources with causes and make partnership connections so that all local people and every generation have what they need to thrive.
Through grants programmes, local appeals, and creative projects, they find positive ways to recognise and support people who work for those in need in the borough. We were pleased to be one of the sponsoring organisations for their charity’s Big Christmas Day Lunch in 2023. 325 elderly guests enjoyed a two-course lunch at the Novotel London West Hotel in Hammersmith and received a gift bag.
Charitable Event - One Day at Christmas
One Day at Christmas is a charity event run by the UK events industry to create a wonderful and special Christmas Day experience for people isolated and lonely who would not otherwise have that opportunity. This brings joy to hundreds of people across event venues in London and Birmingham. We support this annual event through donations and staff volunteering on the day.
Opened in 1886, the venue is an icon of London
